30 years the enterprise has been specializing in manufacturing of
the coaxial rotor helicopters designed by the KAMOV
company.
The KA-26 helicopters
of different variants were produced by the KumAPE from 1968 to 1979,
For this period of time more than 800 helicopters were issued. The
deliveries of large batches of the above-specified helicopters were
carried out to such countries as Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Germany,
Japan, France. Sweden. The KumAPE was the first In the County of
Independent States and in Russia to put Into mass production the
blades from composite materials and right now is actually the only
manufacturer of the mentioned blades In the CIS and Russian Federation,
Promoting its own products to the different markets the KumAPE has
participated in international exhibitions and aeroshows: Helrtech-91
In England, Mosaeroshow-93 in Russia, Aerospace- 94, Aerospace-96
In Singapore and Aerospace-96 in the Republic of Korea, and conducted
a number of specialized exhibitions in Iran, Argentina Brazil, etc.
Thanks to the
participation in the exhibitions and accomplished updating of the
KA-32T helicopter providing for the installation of the fire-fighting
equipment produced by the Simplex company USA, the helicopter has
become very popular in many regions of the world as being a very
reliable means to extinguish fires and having obtained very successful
and effective results in fire elimination and having no analogues
in the given class of the helicopters.
Recently, due
to close co-operation with the LG International Corp. more than
22 sets of tne KA-32T , KA-32C helicopters have been delivered to
the Republic of Korea which are being successfully operated in different
spheres, riarticularly in fire fighting in the forests.
The KumAPE is
executing warranty and after-warranty servise, ensures urgent supplies
of spares and guarantees the deliveries of spares within the whole
period of the helicopter operation.
Continuing the
issue of mass production items, the KumAPE is realizing the project
aimed at carrying out a set of arrangements to run in serial output
of new aircraft such as.
• KA-32A
helicopter which shall differ from its predecessors ÊÀ-Ç2Ò, KA-32C
hell-copters, in improved performances, in updated rotor blades
and many other constructive developments;
• universal multi-purpose KA-226 helicopter fitted with the Alisson
250-L20B engines, the design and technology of which will comply
with all the up-to-date requirements what will provide for more
extended lifetime of the helicopters. |
